omg ok so i’m watching this documentary about this middle school but they are in 8th grade and didn’t know what the Holocaust was.

At my last job I worked at a middle school after-school program. One day we were playing a game that had history and pop-culture references (apples to apples), one of the cards that came up was Anne Frank.

Student 1: “Who’s Anne Frank?”

Student 2: “What are you stupid? She’s the first woman to fly an airplane!”
